Using your own laptop @ BPS

If you are using your own laptop as a trainee or member of staff, you can access most of the usual resources by following these steps:

WIFI :  Connect to WIFI network "BPS-Main" using your main computer username and password as provided by BPS IT Services eg. "JSmith".  Once on the WiFi you will have filtered internet access as a member of staff.

SIMS and Shared Drives:  To allow access to these resources you will first need to setup MFA (Multi Factor Authentication).  This means when you connect to these resources you will be asked to verify the login via a smartphone app or a phone call.  Follow the guide HERE.

Once this has been setup you can browse to remote.bitterneparkschool.org.uk in your web browser.  Login with your normal computer username and password.  You will then see the list of apps available to you: SIMS, P Drive etc.  If you are prompted for a username and password when opening the app, ensure you include "BPS\" in front of your username eg "BPS\jsmith".
